The Strength of Family, The Power of Experience - William F. Traylor founded Traylor Bros., Inc. in 1946 and thrived on conquering the difficult projects, the ones that scared others away. He succeeded through a rare combination of honesty, courage, common sense, attention to detail, and uncanny innovative ability. The second generation Traylors have continued their father's dream of growing Traylor into a multi-divisional organization present in all regions of the USA. The strength of family has now been bolstered by the participation of the third generation of Traylors who are committed to carrying the tradition forward to the next generation. Today, managers, engineers, and craftsmen alike follow Bill's example when it comes to tackling the tough projects.

The Heavy Civil Division, based in Evansville, IN, provides comprehensive, cutting edge bridge building, lock and dam construction, and design build services. Traylor Bros., as prime contractor, has completed more than 130 complex bridge projects including world record cable-stayed structures and segmental bridges. The tremendous depth of experience in our engineering and management staff, together with our highly experienced and competent field personnel, has allowed Traylor to successfully develop some of the most innovative construction techniques, methods, and solutions in the industry. Our singular focus has allowed us to generate concrete, measurable results through advanced technology, productivity, safety, value, and quality on-time construction.

Our Underground Division, headquartered in California, has worked with state-of-the-art technology involving soft ground, hard rock, and drill and shoot tunnel projects in North America and overseas. With over 100 tunneling projects under our belts, including two of the most technically demanding EPB tunnels in the United States and over 40 miles of hard rock tunnels utilizing tunnel boring machines, Traylor Underground can get the job done...on time, and on budget.

Traylor Pacific was established in 1997 to pursue the heavy civil and marine construction market on the western half of the United States. Traylor Pacific has constructed some of America's largest deepwater container piers, wharf facilities, and fish hatcheries requiring markedly shortened time frames and the use of challenging engineering and construction methodologies. In addition, Traylor Pacific has established an excellent reputation building bridge projects and other marine structures on the West coast.

Traylor Mining, our newest division, was founded to carry Traylor's expertise and outstanding reputation into the mine construction marketplace. Traylor Mining has the experience and expertise to take your mining project, whether it involves shaft, decline, underground development, or facilities construction, from concept to completion. With the combined experience and expertise of the Underground Division and Traylor Mining personnel, your project will be built safely, on time, within budget, and with the highest degree of quality.
