The strength of family has now been bolstered by the participation of the third generation of Traylors, who are committed to carrying the tradition forward to the next generation. A new Division has recently been formed within Traylor Bros., Inc. Traylor Mining will concentrate on private mine development work in North America. Carl Johnson has joined our team to lead this new operation. Carl brings over 30 years of construction experience to the organization. This new group will pursue work for copper, silver, gold, coal, and other resource companies that need construction work performed to develop an ore, mineral body. Traylor Mining is headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado.

Traylor-Massman-Weeks, LLC, as a subcontractor to Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure, was awarded the floodwall portion to a line of defense that is intended to provide improved hurricane protection for New Orleans, and specifically for the Inner Harbor Navigation Canal, from surges and waves at the 100-year level that may enter the canal from Lake Borgne. The USACE project also includes a temporary bypass, gate two navigable gate structures, and tie in walls to the existing levees.
