Traylor Driven Photo Contest Winner: “Building Memories”

This year’s first Traylor Driven Photo Contest winner is an image entitled “Building Memories,” of TBM Angeli’s cutterhead removal on our Regional Connector project, taken by Rebecca Reeve in our Long Beach office.

What Drives Becky?

TBI: Briefly describe the photo and how you happened to capture it.

Rebecca Reeve (RR): The photo was captured during the raising of the cutterhead in downtown LA. I thought it would be exciting to see the raising in the middle of a huge city so I headed down there. It was also nice to see the crew again from my time being a heading engineer on the job.

TBI: Tell us about your role working in the Long Beach office and what you enjoy about it.

RR: I really like the people I work with, and I’m learning a lot about how the operations work and the behind-the-scenes roles on projects.

TBI: Is photography a hobby of yours? What else do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

RR: It’s not my main hobby, but I like to take pretty pictures! I also paint, and I enjoy backpacking, scuba diving, and adventuring with my pup.

TBI: You’re clearly a motivated person. What drives you?

BL: The opportunity to thrive in a community that builds each other up while building rad work!
