The Missouri Department of Transportation chose Massman, Traylor, Alberici, A Joint Venture to build a new Cable Stayed 1,500' main span bridge with 400 ft towers.  The new bridge will be constructed over the Mississippi River from St Louis City Missouri to St. Clair County, Illinois; the total length of the improvement being 1.22 miles. 


 

As of April, 2010:

Drilled Shafts: Of twelve 11'6" drilled shafts, 0% are complete.

Substructure Concrete): Of 38,225 cy, 0% are complete.

Superstrucure Concrete (Pre-stressed slab panels):  Of 9,446 cy, 0% are complete.

Fabricated Structural Steel:  Of 8,188 tons 0% are complete.

Stay Cable Strand: Of 1,257 tons, 0% are complete.

Reinforcing Steel:  Of 7,563 tons, 0% are complete.
