MTA C0800 Tunnel Segments Los Angeles, CA
This project involves the manufacture and installation of approximately 14,000 lf of precast concrete tunnel segments. The segments are the final liner for a subway tunnel, the MTA's Gold Line in East Los Angeles. The one pass liner is a first for the LACMTA. Casting began August 2005 and is 100% complete.

Arrowhead Tunnel Segments San Bernardino, CA
Manufacture and install precast concrete tunnel segments for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California's Arrowhead Tunnels Project. The tunnel is approximately 42,330 ft long. The project was awarded in early 2002. The tunnel segments for this project were designed to withstand 900 ft of hydrostatic water pressure. No tunnel in the world has ever had to meet such a high hydrostatic load. As a result, testing was performed at the University of Illinois for the segment radial joint design, in Hamburg, Germany, for the gasket design, and in Los Angeles for the gasket/gasket groove interaction design. Segment casting and installation is 75% complete.

Dulles Airport Tunnel Segments Chantilly, VA
Contract to manufacture and supply precast concrete tunnel liner segments for the MWAA Dulles Airport East APM Tunnels and Stations Project. The twin tunnels for the Automated People Mover system will be constructed by cut-and-cover, NATM, and TBM excavation. The bolted, gasketed, single pass tunnel lining will be utilized for the TBM section under the airport taxiways, approximately 4,400 FL in total length.
