Traylor has performed on reconstruction of fish bypass systems, such as the innovative juvenile fish by-pass system installed at Rocky Reach Dam in Wenatchee, Washington.

This involved removal of an underwater prototype structural steel fish surface collector and bypass system. A new structural steel underwater surface collector, intake screens, bypass conduit, and Juvenile Sampling Facility were installed. The project further entailed installation of a new concrete pump station at Rocky Reach Dam on the Columbia River in up to 110 ft. of water, with level changes during the day and variable river currents working in the fore-bay of the dam. The Rocky Reach Juvenile Fish Bypass project has been selected as a winner of the AGC/Aon Build America Award.
