Superstructures Traylor Bros. has developed the reputation as one of the premier bridge construction firms in the world due in part to their vast amount of experience working with numerous types of dramatic bridge superstructures. Traylor Bros. has bridge experience nationwide: west to California, north across the Canadian border, to south Florida, and as far east as Rhode Island.
Superstructures have included such complex and challenging projects as long span steel trusses and cable-stayed bridges across the Mississippi and Ohio rivers, cast-in-place and precast segmental, steel tied arches, launched steel tub girders, bascule lift spans, and of course, the standard of the industry, concrete and/or steel girders. Traylor Bros. has on a number of occasions built project specific casting facilities to precast segmental box girders and trap beams, concrete girders, columns, pile caps/bents, and concrete piling. Traylor crews have significant experience in the seismic retrofit of major structures in the California marketplace.
The typical Traylor Bros. project will range in size from $20 million upwards of $100 million.
