Footings: 144
Columns: 288

This fast paced bridge replacement was designed to be a minimum of 28 feet above the water to stand above any anticipated storm surge. The navigation channel is spanned by a 250 ft. haunch girder design that provides 95 ft. of clearance. This allows the tallest vessels to navigate under the bridge while traffic flows are unimpeded. The finished bridge features 3 lanes of traffic in each direction with shoulders and a 12 ft. wide Shared Use Path for bicycles and pedestrians.
Construction Method: Pile Bents 24" and 30"; CIP footings, columns, and caps; with 54, 72, and 78 bulb tees; plus a 78 inch haunch girder span at 290'; with CIP deck and Texas type barrier rail
